Karlee and Edei — who are mates from London — treated guests to their beautiful talents on June 30:

On Saturday, June 30, 2012, we proudly presented the opening of Karlee Mackie’s solo art show, Depths & Beyond. Surrounded by the poetry of Kahlil Gibran  — which Karlee penned on the walls around her artworks — and the artist’s positive interpretations of “searching one’s emotions and self to the depths and beyond,” the night was one of rare talents. Edei’s soulful performance (click here to watch a clip), with accompaniment by Kellen Malloy (who opened the evening’s entertainment), was a treasured moment in time. Many of Karlee’s artworks from this show have been sold, but there are still some great pieces with meaningful stories behind them, as well as three pairs of hand painted Aerial7 headphones. Depths & Beyond is running through July 28, 2012.
