A holiday show for kids and the kid inside all of us, The Storytellers is a dreamland of narratives come to life, a cast of characters to delight young and old.

[An art show for the student mastermind]
Meet the cast of characters from within Trace Mendoza’s detailed sketchbooks, a myriad of intricate tales. After said sketchbooks were ruined in the Laguna Beach floods of 2010, this selection was created as an homage to those lost pages. Trace is a student in the Laguna College of Art & Design Mentor Program, this collection part of his senior portfolio project. 2011 is the tenth anniversary of the LCAD and First Thursdays Art Walk professional mentoring program that pairs students with local galleries in December.

[An art show where kids get creative]
Join us for Saturday Kids Mornings this month at the gallery and Laguna Beach Boys and Girls Club. Kid-created MINI&MAXIMUS kid+grown-up art collaborations will be on special display at AR4T, then auctioned at ACTIVE MILK and COOKIES benefit for the LB Boys and Girls Club as part of a day of fun, music and art-making.
